Hospital Visit - May 2009
On Tuesday 26 May 2009 we made a trip to the Johannesburg General Hospital to visit all the kids in the oncology unit. About 30 kids in total were visitied. We took teddy bears, pyjamas, colouring in books, crayons and sweets for the children. It was such a delight to see the joy on their faces when we walked into their rooms. They were all so appreciative of the gifts and also just to spend a little time chatting to us and telling us about their day. Thank you to all the people that so kindly donated teddy bears and to the Foundation for supplying the pyjamas to hand out to the kids. We are hoping to do visits like this to the hospital every 3 to 4 months. The next visit to the hospitals will take place in September.
